Every three years, LCACPs must renew their certification by either:
Qualifying activities include:
While there is a one-month grace period after your certification expiration date, no certification renewal materials will be accepted after this grace period ends. If you fail to recertify on time, your certification will lapse, and you'll need to retake and pass the LCACP examination to become certified again.
You must track your own CEU activities using the CEU Reporting Form, which lists each activity's date, title, sponsor, and category. While you don't need to submit documentation with your form, you should maintain records for two years after your certification cycle ends, as ACLCA conducts annual audits of a sample of recertifying professionals.
